Mounted Staghorn Fern Class 🌿

When: Sunday, May 25th

In this workshop, you will learn how to mount medium sized staghorn fern (comes in a 4” nursery pot) to a piece of cork bark from start to finish, the care needed to keep it happy and thriving, and how to display it.

Cork bark is a great option for mounting plants as it is naturally water resistant, mold & rot resistant, and sustainable/eco-friendly!

All materials for this class are included in the price.

Attendees will also receive 15% off their purchase at the shop the day of the class!

A Land Before Time Terrarium Workshop 🦕

When: Saturday, May 17th from 1:00pm-2:30pm

Love dinosaurs? Duh, we all do!

Join us for our Land Before Time Terrarium Workshop happening on Saturday, May 17th at our event space, the Green Room, located at 320 E Church St. Frederick, MD 21701 (right around the corner from the shop)!

In this class, you will be making a prehistoric inspired ecosystem from start to finish. You will be given all the supplies needed to do this, as well as items to take home with you to help maintain the health of your terrarium. These items include:

• A large pedestal glass terrarium with lid
• Substrates such as soil and sand
• Springtails (super tiny insects that clean the soil & maintain terrarium health)
• A variety of plant cuttings
• Little dinosaurs & cork bark
• A plastic squeeze bottle for watering
• A care card with all the information needed to keep it happy & healthy!

You will be given in depth instruction on how to care for your prehistoric terrarium, as well as have time to ask any and all questions related to the terrarium!

Each class participant will receive 15% off their purchase in the shop the day of the class.
