Middle-earth Terrarium Workshop

Love The Hobbit and/or Lord of the Rings? Think the cottage-core aesthetic is adorable? If so, this class is for you!
Join us for our Middle-earth Terrarium Workshop happening on Sunday, March 9th at our event space, the Green Room, located at 320 E Church St. Frederick, MD 21701 (right around the corner from the shop)!
In this class, you will be making a Middle-earth inspired ecosystem from start to finish. You will be given all the supplies needed to do this, as well as items to take home with you to help maintain the health of your terrarium. These items include:
- • A large glass terrarium with cork lid
- • Substrates such as soil, bonsai soil, and sand
- • Springtails (super tiny insects that clean the soil & maintain terrarium health)
- • Plant cuttings
- • Middle-earth inspired decor (Houses vary- see photo for example)
- • A plastic squeeze bottle for watering
You will be given in depth instruction on how to care for your Middle-earth terrarium, as well as have time to ask any and all questions related to the terrarium!
This class is for anyone 10+ years or older!
Each class participant will receive 15% off their purchase in the shop the day of the class.

Since houses vary, they will be chosen on a first come first serve basis the day of the class. We will try and have as wide of a variety of each as possible, but due to how they’re sold it’s difficult to have the same number of each house as we have participants. Doors for the class will open 15min prior to the start of class. Thank you for understanding!
