Knitting 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Knitting (2nd Date Added!)

August 31 @ 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

$68

I am so excited to finally bridge the gap between my two favorite things, knitting & plants!

Join me on Sunday, August 31st as I teach you the basics of knitting, while creating your very own plant mat! No prior knitting knowledge is necessary.

In this class you will learn how to:

  • Cast on
  • Knit
  • Purl
  • Use stitch markers
  • Cast Off
  • Fix common mistakes such as dropped stitches, twisted stitches, ect.
  • How to read knitting patterns

We will also go over the basics of yarn bases, common tools used, and much more since I’m really good at taking anyones ear off about knitting!

Materials and pattern, written by myself, are included in the price of the class, and you can choose your own yarn color using the drop down menu.

Materials include:

  • (1) Skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease yarn (80% Acrylic, 20% wool)
  • A pair of 9″ US 8 wooden knitting needles
  • (2) Stitch markers
  • Finishing needles to tie in loose ends

This is purposefully a smaller class size so that I can give everyone as much attention as they need, so spaces are limited.

Additionally, all students will receive 15% off their purchase in the shop the day of the class (excludes consignment). Rewards can no longer be redeemed while using the class discount. Thank you for understanding!

I can’t wait to see you in class
